Bristol Brutalism - Castlemead

Castlemead is a towering brutalist office complex in central Bristol. Designed by A J Hines and completed in 1981, the 80-metre, 18-floor landmark stands out with its raw concrete exterior, unbroken vertical lines, and distinctive flared top. An imposing sight as you enter Bristol off the M32! Fun fact: I worked in this building for 10 years so it’s one of my faves!
